Last week I went with The London College of Style to visit Modus Publicity.
We visited the show rooms where we were lucky enough to meet with Thanos Kotsanitis, the show room manger. Thanos showed us the brands, talked us through the merchandising and explained the general running of the show room. Which to me was fascinating! Seeing exclusive designer collections from the likes of Calvin Klein, David Koma, G-Star, Asibelua and MUCH more. I have always had a love for merchandising and visuals, it was incredible to see how they presented such breath taking collections and could make every garment or accessory stand out, and draw you in.
What really blew my mind was Davis Koma's collection. Based on sound, rhythm and movement the collection inspired me, he has used a mix of bold oranges, greens and blacks, clear crisp whites and electric blues which are the colours I love. The collection was based on tennis, who would have thought you could make sport so fashionable. Although I wouldn't fancy swinging a racket in those heels!
